The Thai Language Program

At Silver Fern International School, we believe that our Thai students should honor and respect their cultural identity. While the primary language of instruction at SFIS is English, all students study Thai Language as well as Thai History and Culture. Our students study Thai Language 3-5 days per week (depending on grade level) and we actively encourage our students to celebrate their respective cultural identity within the context of global citizenship.  

Within an IB setting, it is important for Thai students to continue to develop their language ability and for non-native students to learn and understand a new language as part of their development of cultural understanding.
